Sarah Kreutzer

Time is a great healer I have found over my life and gaining life’s wisdom has allowed me to make much healthier choices for my future. And what a life I have had, never a dull moment and if there was one I was sure to create an opportunity to liven it up a bit.

I have experienced so many learning opportunities over my life time, but somehow I always needed to take the ‘long way round’ to learn the lessons for myself instead of listening to someone’s advice or wise words. This is how Learning To Listen has come to be really.

I have taken all my experiences and lessons thus far and condensed them into concepts and exercises so you don’t always have to go the hard, painful and often slow route. Looking back I often asked myself, ‘What was I thinking?’ But sitting here now I totally get it. If I hadn’t done it like that I wouldn’t be able to bring you some of the most powerful, shift creating, lasting lessons, straight from the horses mouth!

Life surely does throw you a curve ball every now and then and for some they have had their fair share, I know I have; abuse, abandonment, betrayal, illness, food deprivation, loneliness, divorce, depression, adversity, failure, loss, grief and more. So how do you come back from these journeys?

You find a strength so deep inside you that you never knew you had. I believe everyone has this strength, but somehow our lack of belief in ourselves holds us back. Our lack of confidence and courage in our own abilities prevent us from reaching out and asking for help. Our ‘self-talking voice’ keeps telling us we don’t deserve to be happy, fulfilled and loved.

Over the last decade Learning To Listen has matured in its approach to helping others. In the beginning it was all about saving the horses from torture and pain from people. Then it became about saving the children from torture and pain from the people. Now it is all about educating and growing people.

It’s understanding that we all have a history often scattered with its own tragedies. Often we have pushed these memories so deep down that we had no idea that they were still there hidden away raising their ugly heads every time something changes, someone leaves us, someone criticises us or someone even tries to love us. Relationships of any kind seem to be a constant battle, from the board room to the bedroom, misunderstandings everywhere. Where has the harmony gone, the synchronicity, the peace and most of all the fun & laughter?

I have loved my life, the ups and the downs. Although the downs are heart wrenching and can be painful beyond belief they have truly been my greatest teachers. Something positive has always come from those hard times. I wouldn’t change a single moment, however I may have changed my attitude towards them.

I have created Learning To Listen from nothing; an idea in my head, from a passion in my heart for helping others. I believe in people and I believe that each and everyone one of us has a purpose during our life time to learn as much as we can about the experience of life with all it’s ups and downs and then be there for others to help them through their journeys. I choose to work with the horses to help me do this, there are many other mediums to use, which one will you pick?

I hope you enjoy my website and if you can’t find what you are looking for then please give me a call or come and see me on the farm, you are always welcome.

Take care
