Family Coaching and Parent Support
Coming for Family Coaching Sessions is a progressive and highly effective intervention to support your family in raising awareness on issues and behaviours that are interupting the ability for your family to achieve a more harmonious life together.
This is where Learning to Listen comes in. Our unique approach to family coaching, using horses and our back-to-nature approach are just some of the ways we do things differently. You won’t be sat in a room but will be getting in the great outdoors at our beautiful farm.
Our family coaching is facilitated in a gentle sensitive manner, we will create a safe space to enable each member of the family to explore their individual need and learn to speak their truth. We take you on a journey, hold you accountable to the agreements you’ve made with each other and metaphorically hold your hand when the going gets tough. Change isn’t easy and it will take commitment during the times that feel like it might be getting worse before it gets better, but if you believe in your family and want honest, loving relationships that will stand the test of time and crisis, then join us so that you can build the tools required to potentially change your lives forever.
The first steps to starting your family coaching is to book a visit to the farm. We call this a taster session, where you can come and meet us, see the environment, meet the animals and have your questions answered. Then when you’re ready to book, you do this through the coach that you have met and agree convenient time to suit everyone.
We offer coaching for parents with or without the horses, either individually, together as a couple or as a workshop.
Through our coaching and workshops, we will equip you with new skills to take back home and share with your family. We understand that time is precious and creating the time can be difficult, but if we work on you, then your children will benefit greatly as will all your other relationships.
You will see demonstrations, be introduced to our coaching models and techniques and take part in practical exercises to maximise your learning. These exercises may include working with the horses and dogs to accelerate the pace and retention of your learning. Research has shown that putting into practice the theory has a far greater and more sustainable impact on your learning than is possible in the with just classroom work. No prior experience is needed with horses or dogs.
We highly recommend that parents get their thoughts and hearts together before bringing the children on board.
As your coaches we will create a safe and supportive environment in which you can fully explore all aspects of your thinking and feeling, leading to new awareness and deep insights. Your coaches are skilled in working intuitively and energetically to help you see unconscious patterns, beliefs and behaviours which may be limiting you and preventing you from achieving the outcomes you desire.
