Learning To Listen’s Horses Helping Autism

The Autism programme is going spectacularly well, with the children bringing smiles and beautiful weather with them. We have been lucky enough to work mostly outside with the horses, going for rides around the farm. We have expored the ponds, river, log cabin and the woods all on horse back. Paige and Mathew are eager to trot so Max and I have been building up our fitness to run along side them. We’ve drawn a line at the big hills though.

Mathew and Paige can both catch their horses now, brush them off, pick out feet and tack up ready for riding. Just need to work on getting the girths tighter!

The smiles we see and the laughter we hear melts our hearts. What a great way to spend our time.
