Opening hearts, exploring minds, changing lives.
Who are we and what do we do?
We are a dedicated team of Equine Facilitated Coaches who are committed to journeying alongside those that visit us. We offer a holistic approach to personal coaching and professional training in a natural environment. People come to us when they are ready to take a step back from the treadmill of life and make changes to help themselves and others around them grow personally and professionally. For over 20 years we have worked closely with individuals from all walks of life to make those changes happen. Through our programmes and transformational coaching, we offer the support needed to develop and grow.
What is Equine Facilitated Coaching?
Equine Facilitated Coaching (EFC) offers a holistic approach to personal development and professional coaching. EFC is a powerful tool which, using horses, accelerates learning and personal growth. Horses have instinctive reactions and mirror behaviours within individuals. By recognising these attributes it enables us to be honest and true to ourselves and develop from within in a powerful and life changing way.
Working in a natural environment we utilise the horse’s instinctive reactions to accelerate learning and get sustainable results. All our concepts, models and exercises with the horses are unique to Learning to Listen, and all people who work with us under either Learning to Listen or Autism Angels (our registered charity) are trained in these unique concepts and models.
We currently operate from two centres, Learning to Listen North, just outside Harrogate, and Learning to Listen South, near Hitchin, Hertfordshire. We offer coaching and development programmes for individuals and families, corporate clients and the education sector and our professional programmes are ILM (Institute of Leadership & Management) accredited.
